High quality screws for fastening to metal and plastics. A pilot hole is first drilled then self tapping screw creates its own thread. Cross recess countersunk self-tapping screws AB Rec type are designed and manufactured to BS 4174. They are case hardened to prevent both shearing under load and resistance to excess torque pressure. They are plated in Trivalent Chromium (CR3) zinc 3 microns, with a self-tapping 60 degree thread for ease of insertion.
